If you've read any of my reviews you would know that I am a huge fan of diners and diner food. My favorite being mom and pop places this is one of them. They serve breakfast through lunch ending service at 3 PM. They're a great choice for breakfast anytime of the week or weekend. All the waitresses there are absolute sweethearts. They do a very good job of getting the orders in in the food out in a very timely matter. Now for the food if you've ever eaten anywhere, no matter where you eat you generally eating Mexican. That's a direct reference to the kitchen staff. These guys know exactly what they're doing producing very authentic, American and Mexican dishes. The great big stand out here are the tamales. Simply put people, they taste like my moms. You have your choice of poor beef or chicken at 28 bucks a dozen they're a bargain as they are large in filling. Located in Rowlett this place is absolutely worth the drive. Don't miss it.
Very good food today. Pancakes were fresh as well as bacon. Requested bacon to be medium and it was. Waitress was very attentive.
The food is always great, the mimosas always strong, and the service almost always perfect. The menu is full of delicious dishes and I think the banana bread is heavenly (when they aren't sold out).

Like stepping back in time. Food like an old fashioned diner. Everything was perfect: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes, yeast roll, tea. (Don't think I'll be hungry for dinner this evening.) Waitress was also super cute and sweet, which was a plus.
Love this place for comfort food. If you can't make it at home come here. From the breakfast menu to lunch and other it's very tasty and consistent.
My server Ash was so wonderful. She took my order and asked in detail if I needed anything else to go with my meal. She suggested several varieties of hot sauce to go with my avocado toast, butter and cheese to go with my grits. My coffee cup was always full. She removed my plate promptly after I finished my breakfast. Very pleasant and attentive server. Ash created a wonderful dining experience. Just wanted to pass the word on to Hubbards management team. 5stars
Good for groups, good for hungry glutons! Beer, wine, frozen Margaritas, and other cocktail drinks for legal adults. American, Country American, Tex-Mex dishes & Desserts. Great variety on the menu, big portions, good pricing. The rustic setting with plenty of antique decor on the walls up to the ceiling give an old country store feeling. You appetite actually increases as you drive toward Hubbard's. Scoot over, your belly will take the wheel!
